An exciting opportunity is available for experienced registered nurses who thrive in the fast-paced and rewarding environment of the Intensive Care Unit. This contract role calls for expertise in caring for both adult and pediatric acutely ill patients, each presenting with a broad spectrum of serious medical conditions. The ICU maintains an optimal 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, supporting safe, high-quality care.

Schedule:

3x12-hour night shifts per week

13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to ICU patients, including both adults and pediatrics, with acute and complex needs.

Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary clinical team to develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.

Administer medications using automated dispensing systems (Pixys) and accurately document in the Cerner EMR.

Respond to patient emergencies with calm expertise and utilize critical care protocols, including NIHSS assessments.

Provide patient and family education, ensuring compassionate communication and support.

Qualifications:

Current, unencumbered single state Oklahoma RN license or compact nursing license.

Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required.

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only).

Proficient in the use of Cerner EMR and automated medication systems.

NIHSS certification required for all RNs.

Navy blue scrubs required for all RN staff.
