Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license with a strong background in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum one year of recent CVOR experience
  • Exceptional critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
  • Comfort working with physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams in a high-acuity environment

    • Key Schedule Details:

  • Contract position
  • Day and/or evening shifts depending on facility need (specific schedule provided at interview stage)

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub in cardiovascular cases, including open-heart and vascular surgeries
  • Assess patient status pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, providing thorough documentation
  • Facilitate effective communication among all members of the surgical team
  • Ensure strict adherence to all infection control and patient safety protocols
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, anticipating needs for each procedure
  • Deliver compassionate support to patients and families throughout the surgical experience
