Step into a dynamic environment in a high-acuity Operating Room, where cardiovascular and surgical specialties blend with cutting-edge techniques and technology. This contract RN role focuses on CVOR circulating responsibilities within a 14-OR suite, including two dedicated CVORs. Collaborate with highly skilled teams to deliver exceptional patient care with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio while fostering a responsive and adaptive atmosphere.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift begins at 6:30 am, with daily team huddles at 6:45 am
  • OR operates from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm with a structured call schedule
  • On-call required for weekdays and weekends, self-scheduled, including 24-hour weekend coverage

    • Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum two years’ OR circulating experience in an acute care hospital
  • Proficient across multiple specialties: general surgery, ENT, urology/gynecology, orthopedics, robotics, and CVOR cases
  • BLS certification required
  • Strongly preferred: CNOR certification and over five years OR nursing experience
  • Comfort with Meditech ORM EMR system

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate for a diverse case mix including heavy robotics, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, colorectal, vascular, and urology procedures
  • Collaborate with a team of RNs and surgical techs in a fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrate flexibility in floating to pre-op holding as needed
  • Participate in daily huddles, maintain quick response readiness during on-call, and adhere to all dress and unit policies
