Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time shifts; schedule details provided during the interview process.

    • Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Thorough understanding of CVOR protocols, instruments, and sterile technique
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced surgical setting

    • Responsibilities:

  • Assist cardiovascular surgeons during operative procedures, anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile field
  • Monitor patients’ condition and vital signs before, during, and after surgery
  • Administer medications and manage surgical equipment as directed
  • Collaborate closely with surgical team members, anesthesiologists, and other perioperative staff
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly
  • Maintain compliance with all facility policies, regulations, and safety standards
  • Participate in pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient assessments and support
