Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are currently needed for a 26-week assignment in a psychiatric hospital environment. This opportunity suits professionals who are dedicated to patient advocacy and committed to fostering therapeutic recovery.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Overtime may be available based on needs
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mealtime
  • Observe and document patient behavior, mood changes, and any safety issues
  • Support therapeutic activities and group programming under nursing supervision
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to behavioral health safety guidelines
  • Aid with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as required
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and communicate updates on patient status
  • Comply with all facility policies regarding privacy, infection control, and safety
  • Requirements:

  • Active CNA certification (compliant with state regulations)
  • Previous experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, corrections, or long-term care settings preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and composure in challenging situations
  • Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to assignment
  • Successful completion of background and drug screenings, as well as onboarding processes

    $1,290 - $1,360/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
