1:1 1:1 Care School Registered Nurse | Ithaca, New York

Make a meaningful impact by providing 1:1 nursing care to an elementary student as part of a dynamic school-based contract opportunity. This position is ideal for dedicated Registered Nurses seeking a weekday schedule in a supportive learning environment.

You’ll work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 2:30/3:00 pm. If your duties are completed for the day, you may leave at 2:30 pm while still receiving pay for a full day, allowing for greater flexibility. The role centers on a 1st-grade student with a tracheostomy who is non-verbal, ensuring close monitoring, routine trach care, and suctioning, along with support for activities of daily living such as feeding. As the student attends select electives outside of the special education classroom, you’ll provide supervision and essential health support throughout the day.
