Qualifications:

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with Certified School Nurse endorsement required (Illinois)
  • Active RN license in Illinois
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Certified School Nurse
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Resume and proof of PEL must be submitted
  • RN or LPNs without PEL certification are not eligible
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care in school health offices (two locations: High School and Elementary)
  • Participate in IEP meetings for students with special needs
  • Administer routine health screenings, medications, and manage student health plans
  • Document care and maintain accurate health records
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families for optimal student wellness
  • Full-time, 12-week contract: High School (Mon-Wed 7am-2:30pm) & Elementary (Thurs-Fri 8am-4pm)
