Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts: 7A-7P or 7P-7A
  • 6-week scheduling cycles
  • Weekend rotation: 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week cycle
  • No on-call shifts required
  • Holiday shifts: 1 per major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ ED experience
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
  • Must pass an EKG competency exam (BCR)
  • National certification in emergency nursing preferred but not mandatory
  • Proficiency with Level 1 Trauma supplies and drips (e.g., Heparin, Dopamine, Propofol)
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to a broad range of emergency patients (chest pain, trauma, mental health, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with CNAs, charge nurses, unit secretaries, and medical teams
  • Safely manage department technology (EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Philips monitors)
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, and interventions
  • Participate in rapid infusions, tele monitoring, and care coordination
  • Engage in team-based care and support a positive, fast-paced unit culture
