Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (Nevada or compact state accepted)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Experience with pediatric trach, vent, and G-tube care preferred
  • School nursing or pediatric experience highly valued
  • Willingness to travel to and work in a rural school setting
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a kindergarten student with tracheostomy, ventilator, and G-tube needs
  • Collaborate with school staff, home health providers, and the student’s IEP team
  • Monitor and document care per district policy
  • Attend a required training on August 4th, with additional support as the assignment continues
