Stepping into this role, you’ll be immersed in a high-acuity, 24-bed cardiac monitored unit, where you’ll collaborate alongside skilled charge nurses, patient care technicians, and monitoring techs. Schedule:

  • Rotating shifts, including every other weekend
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring
  • Proficient in care for post-TAVR, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, Watchman procedures, and managing cardiac drips
  • Preferred Experience:

  • Participation in procedures such as TAVR, ablations, Watchman, STEMI, pacemakers, and CardioMEMS
  • Previous work on telemetry units or similar high-acuity environments
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess cardiac patients using advanced telemetry equipment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain optimal patient care
  • Float to similar units as needed
  • Provide compassionate, timely care during both routine and emergent situations
  • Utilize electronic documentation (Allscripts) for patient records
