Position Overview:
As an OR RN, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures by providing expert nursing care and maintaining a safe, sterile environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Monitor patients during surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
  • Assist surgeons during operations by anticipating their needs.
  • Document procedures and patient responses accurately and thoroughly.
  • Support pre-operative and post-operative care as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure in Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the start date.
  • Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
