Position Overview:
As an IR Tech, you’ll support interventional radiology procedures by operating specialized imaging equipment, maintaining sterile environments, and collaborating closely with the healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment while delivering critical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to assist with minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain sterile fields and follow strict infection control protocols.
  • Assist radiologists during procedures by positioning patients and handling instruments.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions during procedures, responding to changes as needed.
  • Document procedure details accurately and maintain patient records.
  • Stay up-to-date on advancements in interventional radiology technologies and techniques.

    Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification required; additional certification in IR preferred.
  • Current Wisconsin state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the start date.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR Tech preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment and procedures.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
