Shift: 12-Hour Evenings | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Schedule Rotation: 3x12s
Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 6-week assignment in Highland Park, IL. This is a great opportunity to bring your skills to a high-acuity emergency department while enjoying the vibrant surroundings of the Chicago metro area.
Position Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of recent ER RN experience required
Must pass an EKG competency test on the first day
Certifications (Required):
Active Illinois RN license
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
PALS
NIH Stroke Scale Certification
TNCC or TNS
EMR:
Experience with Epic charting system is required
Job Responsibilities:
Provide urgent and critical care to patients in a fast-paced ED environment
Rapidly assess patient conditions and initiate appropriate treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including trauma, cardiac, and stroke teams
Administer emergency medications and interventions
Manage IVs, cardiac monitors, ventilators, and defibrillators
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation using Epic EMR
Support stroke protocols and trauma response
