Schedule/Hours

  • Night Shift: 12-hour shifts
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required
  • Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive and ongoing patient assessments
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care using evidence-based practices
  • Administer cardiac and critical care drips, manage ventilators, wound vacs, central lines, chest tubes, and all O2 therapies
  • Serve as a point of contact for families and coordinate multidisciplinary care
  • Provide clear patient education, emotional support, and advocacy
  • Respond confidently to rapidly evolving patient conditions, using strong clinical judgment
  • Maintain vigilance in infection control and universal precautions
  • Qualifications

  • RN license (current, or compact state)
  • BLS and ACLS (required); PALS preferred
  • Minimum 4 years ICU experience (open to discussion for exceptional candidates with less)
  • At least 2 recent travel contracts preferred
  • Proficiency in dysrhythmia recognition (exam required)
  • Critical care certifications such as CCRN/TNCC/PCCN/NIH Stroke (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s in Nursing strongly desired
