Sterling, VA: Full Time RN School Nurse job opportunity

I am seeking a Registered Nurse with pediatric experience for a school-based position that is now available near Sterling, VA.  This contract position is Full Time, 37.5 hours per week. Initial school assignment will be approx 6-8 weeks with potential to extend at current school site or they will help out at a different school site.

In this role, the School RN will provide care to students at one school location in Elementary, Middle or High school setting.  Health Room duties include health room support, immunization compliance, medication administration, developing care plans, care coordination, and special education evaluations. 

RNs will be trained for the Health Office and work as a substitute when necessary.  Hours vary by school, generally 8 hours/day, 30 min unpaid lunch.
