We are looking for an experienced Step Down RN to join our team in Newark, NY, on a 13-week contract. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in patient care within a step-down unit.

Position Overview:

As a Step Down RN, you will provide critical care for patients transitioning from the ICU. Your responsibilities will include patient monitoring, medication administration, and working closely with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Position Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shifts: Day, Evening, and Night
  • Weekly Hours: 36-40 hours
  • Location Requirement: Must live 50 miles away from the hospital

    Requirements:

  • Active RN License
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Step Down RN
  • BLS certification through AHA
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
