Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Coos Bay, OR area. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to support the health and well-being of students within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assess student health needs and assist in the development of individualized health care plans.
  • Monitor and manage students with chronic health conditions, ensuring their well-being during the school day.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support students’ health needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records in compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Educate students and staff on health-related issues, including hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.

    Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
  • Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric nursing is preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassion and a commitment to student health and safety.
