Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) in Easton, MD

ProCare Therapy is excited to announce an exceptional part-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) at Easton Middle School for the 2024-25 school year. This role involves providing one-on-one care for a middle school student, ensuring their medical needs are met throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one medical support to a middle school student.
  • Ride the bus with the student to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being during transportation.
  • Assist with tube feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and care.
  • Monitor and respond to seizure activity, providing immediate and appropriate care.
  • Maintain and monitor oxygen levels, ensuring the student’s respiratory needs are met.
  • Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support the student's overall health and well-being.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of the student's medical care and progress.

    Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
  • Experience with tube feeding, seizure monitoring, and oxygen level maintenance preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions.
  • Passion for providing high-quality care to students.

    Additional Information:

  • Position is located at Easton Middle School.
  • Requires riding the bus with the student to and from school daily.
  • Competitive pay rate of $40+ per hour.
