School Registered Nurse (RN) – Chula Vista, CA

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in California for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 32-37 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and health screenings.
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans (IHPs) for students with medical conditions.
  • Monitor and manage chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, and severe allergies.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and wellness.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Conduct health education programs for students and staff.

    Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid California RN license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
