Hourly Rate: Up to $35 per hour

Required Degrees and Certifications:

  • CPR and First Aid certification.

    Job Description:
    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) to join a supportive team near Geneva, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for providing medical care to students, promoting health and safety, and working collaboratively with school staff and parents to ensure a healthy learning environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat students with injuries or illnesses, providing first aid as necessary.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) for students.
  • Develop and implement health plans for students with special medical needs.
  • Provide health education to students, staff, and parents regarding wellness and safety.
  • Maintain accurate health records, ensuring compliance with school and state health regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, school staff, and parents to address student health concerns.
  • Respond to emergencies and manage medical crises that may arise during school hours.

    Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric care is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A caring and patient-centered approach to student health care.
