Registered Nurse (RN) Job Opportunity – Henderson, NC

Position Details:

School Year: 2024-2025

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: May 23, 2025

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (includes bus ride to and from school with a student)

Caseload: 1:1 with a high school student requiring tracheostomy care.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and monitoring for a student with a tracheostomy during school hours and on the bus.

Perform tracheostomy care, health evaluations, and assessments as required.

Implement and follow the student's Individual Health Plan or Plan of Care.

Communicate effectively with the district nurse supervisor or designee regarding the student’s care and progress.

Qualifications:

Experience with tracheostomy care and management.

Familiarity with school bus duties (AM/PM) as they pertain to student health.

Strong assessment and reporting skills for health evaluations.

Active RN license in North Carolina.

This is a full-time, onsite position offering a meaningful opportunity to support a student's health and well-being in an educational setting.
