Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position supporting students with cognitive behavioral delays in a transitional school program. This onsite role involves a combination of light nursing and intensive student support duties.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide basic nursing care including medication administration and health monitoring
Offer 1:1 and group support for students during classroom and activity times
Assist with personal care, mobility, and hygiene as needed
Support behavioral and learning goals under teacher and staff direction
Work extended hours on Thursdays and Fridays due to student needs
Qualifications:
Active LPN license in the state of Minnesota
CPR/BLS certification required
Prior experience working with students with significant cognitive delays strongly preferred
Physically able to support students with high needs throughout the day
School-based experience is a plus
