Position Overview:
We are seeking both a Certified School Nurse (CSN) and a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our health services team for the upcoming school year. These positions will be based in a single school building, supporting students across grade levels. The primary responsibility is to independently manage the health office and provide essential care and support to the school community.
Position Details:
Certified School Nurse (CSN)
Schedule: 3–5 days/week
License Required: Illinois RN license + PEL with CSN endorsement
Duties: Oversee student health services, manage health records, support IEP/504 processes
Registered Nurse (RN)
Schedule: Full-Time
License Required: Illinois RN license
Duties: Run the school health office, manage daily student health needs, provide emergency care
Additional Info:
Only one school site assigned
All grade levels served
Likely fingerprinting required for onboarding
No additional supervision (e.g., RBT, CNA, Para) provided
