We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a full-time school nurse. This position involves providing dedicated care to an elementary student with cerebral palsy (CP). The ideal candidate will have experience with feeding tubes, transfers, and toileting, as well as a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-on-1 medical support for an elementary student with CP.
  • Manage feeding tube care, including preparation and administration.
  • Assist with transfers and toileting needs, ensuring the student's comfort and dignity.
  • Monitor the student’s health and respond promptly to any medical needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to support the student’s learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines.

    Qualifications:

  • Active LPN licensure in Rhode Island.
  • Experience working with children with complex medical needs is preferred.
  • Proficiency in feeding tube care, transfers, and toileting support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.

    Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, full-time school hours.

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a Soliant Education  Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
  • Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
