An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) eager to make a difference in the educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. Based in the Olympia, WA area, this position focuses on supporting a student one-on-one throughout the academic year. This full-time role is perfect for compassionate LPNs or LVNs who thrive in a school environment and are dedicated to ensuring student health and safety.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Washington LPN license, or willingness to obtain before the start date
  • Must be fingerprinted through OSPI, or willing to complete the fingerprinting process
  • Previous pediatric, school, or 1:1 nursing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time, on-site
  • Ability to support students with various health and medical needs
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care for a single student during school days
  • Administer medications, treatments, and monitor health conditions
  • Prepare and maintain detailed health records in compliance with state and school policies
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and the student’s family to ensure a safe and inclusive environment
  • Remain on-site throughout the student’s arrival and departure each day
  • Respond to any health emergencies or concerns quickly and professionally
