School Nurse (CSN-Certified) – Full-Time Position in Palm Springs, CA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse (CSN-Certified) for a full-time position in Palm Springs, CA. This role will involve supporting students aged 18 to 22 at a transition center, with a primary focus on working one-on-one with a student who has Type 1 diabetes. When the student does not require assistance, the School Nurse will also serve as a job coach, offering valuable support to other students.

Position Details:

  • Location: Palm Springs, CA

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one nursing care for a student with Type 1 diabetes, ensuring their health and safety.
  • Monitor and manage the student’s medical needs, including medication administration and blood sugar monitoring.
  • Serve as a job coach during downtime, offering guidance to other students in the transition center.
  • Maintain accurate healthcare records in compliance with state regulations.
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students.

    Qualifications:

  • Valid CSN (Certified School Nurse) license in California.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
