Details:

  • School based LVN position in Moderate/Severe Special Education Programs
  • Nursing team has an RN/Nurse Coordinator. The RN is the direct supervisor of the LVN team
  • This site has our most intensive students, which included the medically fragile students.  There are also 2 classes - a primary and life skills program.
  • Position may require local travel

    Duties:

  • Providing direct nursing services to students with plans for g-tub feeding, medication administration, catheters, etc.
  • Response to medical emergencies on campus – seizures, falls, etc.
  • First aide support for students
  • Support for offsite programs for emergencies, first aide, supplies, etc. as needed
  • Contacting doctors for health plans, filing, answering phones, medical billing (provide training)

    Requirements

  • Valid LPN/RN License for CA
