Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team of dedicated professionals supporting students in school settings. We partner with school districts across the country to provide high-quality nursing care for students in both general education and special education programs.

Position Overview:
As a school-based RN with Sunbelt Staffing, you will play a vital role in supporting student health and wellness in an educational environment. Positions are available across grade levels, from PreK to 12th grade, and include a variety of roles depending on the needs of the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine and emergency nursing care to students

  • Support students with chronic health conditions and develop care plans

  • Administer medications and monitor for side effects

  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote student well-being

  • Some roles include 1:1 care for medically fragile students, which may require accompanying the student on the school bus

    Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of assignment

  • Pediatric and/or school nursing experience preferred

  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills

  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to working with diverse student needs
