We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a school-based team near Anaheim, CA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with students and staff to support daily health needs and promote a safe and healthy school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide health services to students, including first aid, illness management, and medication administration
Monitor and support students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes)
Assist with mandated health screenings and documentation
Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
Support school staff in emergency medical situations
Ensure compliance with state and district health policies and procedures
Requirements
Active California LVN license
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Minimum of one year of experience in a school setting (required)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pediatric or adolescent care experience preferred
Proficient with electronic documentation systems
