Location: Quakertown, PA

Compensation: 40-47/hour

Caseload: 37.5 hours per week. Must have experience and be comfortable with trach, vent, g-tube, and seizures. Classroom plus AM/PM transportation (bus riding).

Company: ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Quakertown, PA, to recruit a committed RN. 

Position Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care and assistance to students with diverse health needs in the school environment.
  • Conduct health assessments, screenings, and administer medications based on prescribed protocols.
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions or special health requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide necessary first aid as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is a prerequisite.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in public health nursing, community health nursing, school health or pediatric nursing.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are mandatory.
  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational aptitude are essential.
