Position Overview:
We seek a dependable and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time 1:1 assignment supporting students within 18 local districts across the Chicago suburbs.

The selected RN will work closely with students requiring specialized medical care, including transportation support. The day will begin and end with bus transportation duties, ensuring the student's safety during transit.

Assignment Includes:

  • Providing direct 1:1 medical support for students with complex needs

  • Accompanying students during school hours and on transportation routes

  • Caseload includes students with seizure disorders, trach care, and G- or J-tube needs

  • Shift: Approx. 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM (extended hours for transportation as needed)

    Required Credentials:

  • Active RN license (State of Illinois)

  • IL Para PEL required (per district policy)

  • Demonstrated experience with pediatric care and students with high medical needs

  • Proficiency in emergency response, seizure protocols, tracheostomy care, and feeding tube management

    Preferred Experience:

  • Background in school nursing or prior 1:1 student support

  • Comfort working across multiple sites and traveling within the district area
