Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 medical and educational support to a 3-year-old female student. This role involves accompanying the student throughout her school day and ensuring her medical and developmental needs are met with the utmost care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation Assistance: Ride the bus with the student each morning and afternoon.
  • Classroom Support: Assist the student in her preschool classroom, ensuring her needs are met during learning activities.
  • Therapy Assistance: Accompany the student to related services such as physical therapy, speech therapy, and other appointments as scheduled.
  • Medical Care: Provide specialized medical care, including managing the student’s central line and addressing other medical needs.

    Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
  • Valid MA license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
  • Knowledge of FERPA and HIPAA regulations.
  • Experience or training in working with school-aged children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.

    Preferred Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, therapy teams, and parents.
