Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and professional Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in Roxbury, MA, for the 2024/2025 school year. This role involves providing general school nurse services, ensuring the health and well-being of students throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and provide first aid to students as needed.
  • Conduct health screenings and assessments, and maintain accurate health records.
  • Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to address students' health needs.
  • Provide health education and promote wellness programs within the school community.
  • Manage and respond to emergency situations and coordinate with local health services when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, state regulations, and best practices for school health services.

    Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a school environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
