Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time School Position in Burlington, MA

Work closely with teachers and school staff to support health-related needs and classroom activities.

Provide nursing services including medication administration, health assessments, and first aid consistent with Massachusetts school health regulations.

Assist students with chronic health conditions, medical needs, and individualized healthcare plans (IHPs).

Support students with daily routines, mobility, personal care, or use of adaptive equipment as needed.

Monitor and supervise students in classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, and during school transportation when necessary.

Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers regarding student health status and concerns.

Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health and school policies.

Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment.

Requirements:

Current and valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children in a school or healthcare setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff.

Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.

Ability to comply with Massachusetts state nursing practice and school health regulations.

Physical ability to assist students with mobility or personal care needs when necessary.
