Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Previous experience in Operating Room nursing required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong understanding of aseptic technique, surgical instruments, and procedures
  • Ability to stay composed and focused in high-pressure, fast-paced settings
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

    • Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment, ensuring adherence to sterility and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with surgical staff before, during, and after procedures to provide seamless patient care
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition throughout the perioperative period
  • Safeguard and account for surgical instruments, sponges, and medications
  • Assist with positioning, prepping, and draping patients according to the needs of each procedure
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
  • Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and well-being every step of the way
