Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time – Nutley, NJ
Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Nutley, New Jersey. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of K-12 students within a collaborative and inclusive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to students with a range of acute and chronic health needs
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school protocols
Respond promptly to student health concerns and medical emergencies
Develop and manage Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and support the medical components of IEPs
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote a safe and healthy learning environment
Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate in school-wide health initiatives, screenings, immunization tracking, and wellness programs
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
CPR and First Aid certification required
Previous experience in school-based nursing required
Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to compassionate, inclusive care for diverse student populations
