Hours per Week: 40

Shift: Variable Shifts (Prefer 8-hour shifts, start times between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM)

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is looking for an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Green Bay, WI. This position involves working in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) with a diverse patient population, including general, ortho, urology, ENT, plastics, IR, bronchs, cath lab, EP, eyes, cardiac, and vascular cases. The role requires expertise in managing cardiac gtts, vented, and ICU patients. You will float between the Main PACU and East PACU, and may also assist in SDS and pre-op if your skillset allows. There is no call, no weekend work, and no holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU, including phase I and II recovery
  • Manage cardiac gtts, interpret cardiac strips, and care for vented and ICU patients
  • Perform IV starts, H&Ps, and surgical prep if floating to pre-op
  • Use EPIC for charting and operate Alaris and Pyxis systems
  • Float between Main PACU and East PACU as needed, with potential assignments to SDS and pre-op

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of hospital-based PACU experience
  • RN with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Proficient in managing various patient types and utilizing EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis systems
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
