Qualifications and Preferences:

Active NY RN license is required
Pediatric experience is a plus, but not mandatory
Capable of full-time commitment
Strong record-keeping abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, especially with parents, educators, and staff
Ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently in a school health setting

Key Responsibilities:

Administer prescribed medications and monitor diabetic students
Assess and triage student health concerns or injuries
Deliver emergency response and first aid care as needed
Maintain accurate records of immunizations and clinic visits
Communicate effectively with families and school staff regarding student care
Oversee daily operations of the school health clinic
