Requirements:
Active Illinois RN License
Current CPR certification
Previous experience in pediatrics or school nursing preferred
Ability to pass background and TB screening per Illinois school district standards
Typical Responsibilities:
Administering medications and treatments per physician orders
Managing student health records
Responding to health emergencies and first aid needs
Supporting students with chronic health conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma)
Coordinating with staff, families, and outside providers
