Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled RN for a Med/Surg/Telemetry travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. This position involves working night shifts in adult Med/Surg units, with duties including IV insertion, lab draws, and telemetry monitoring. Candidates with Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Records are preferred. The role requires working every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major seasonal holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer patient care in Med/Surg units, including starting IVs and performing lab draws.
  • Monitor and respond to telemetry data and patient conditions.
  • Use EPIC Electronic Medical Records for accurate documentation.
  • Deliver patient care with minimal orientation and supervision.
  • Adhere to a schedule of every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major seasonal holidays.

    Qualifications:

  • Active New York State RN Registration required.
  • BLS certification required; must be able to recertify.
  • At least 1.5 years of recent experience in an acute care setting.
  • Experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma centers is preferred.
  • Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation.
