Qualifications:

  • Valid and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med Surg or Telemetry units
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Proficient in patient assessment, critical thinking, and care planning
  • Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Experience documenting in electronic medical record systems
  • Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and prioritize patient needs

    • Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess patients’ conditions on medical-surgical and telemetry units
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Interpret and respond appropriately to telemetry leads and vital sign changes
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment regimens, and post-discharge care
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and patient responses
  • Uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality standards at all times
  • Support patient comfort and address concerns in a compassionate, professional manner
