Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night Shifts)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Alabama for a 13-week contract. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a medical-surgical unit, working the night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med-Surg nursing role.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Monitor patients' conditions and document observations, actions, and responses to treatments.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Advocate for patients' needs and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Respond to medical emergencies and make critical decisions as necessary.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with facility policies and regulations.

Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medications, and post-discharge care.

Requirements:

Current and valid RN license in the state of Alabama.

Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience.

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility and ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach.
