Sunbelt Staffing is hiring an experienced Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RN with strong med-surg experience to work in a reputable facility providing compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementing nursing interventions for medical-surgical patients.

Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Adhere to facility policies and procedures, maintaining a high standard of safety and care.

Qualifications:

Active New York State RN License.

BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.

Minimum of 2 year's of experience in a Medical-Surgical Level 1 or 2 trauma facility.

Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Must be able to start IV's, draw labs, and monitor telemetry.

Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
