ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a one-on-one position with a high school student in McDonough, GA. This role requires specialized care to support the student’s medical needs throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct medical care and monitoring in the school setting
Manage G/J tube care, including the use of a Farrell bag for venting
Perform suctioning as needed
Assist with frequent positioning to prevent pressure wound complications
Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
Maintain detailed documentation of medical interventions and student progress
Requirements:
Active LPN license in Georgia
Experience with G/J tubes, suctioning, and wound care preferred
School-based or pediatric experience is a plus
Strong ability to follow care plans and work independently
