Job Title: Onsite Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Overview:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a school-based position in Puyallup, WA. The LPN will provide essential healthcare services to students, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day. This role involves collaborating with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to support students' medical needs in the educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications, treatments, and health care services as outlined in students' care plans.
  • Provide direct care for students with chronic or acute medical conditions.
  • Monitor student health conditions and respond to medical emergencies when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students.
  • Communicate with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers to ensure proper care.
  • Provide first aid and health assessments as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience in a pediatric, school, or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle medical emergencies in a school environment.

    Work Hours: Full-time or part-time availability based on the school’s needs.
