This role features a consistent schedule of 6.5-hour days, Monday through Friday, totaling 32.5 hours per week. You’ll enjoy working at a single school site, providing daily care and support for a diverse student population, including those with mild to moderate special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver traditional school nurse duties, including monitoring student health and addressing any arising concerns.
  • Conduct evaluations of students as needed, working collaboratively with education staff.
  • Perform possible eye and ear examinations.
  • Train school staff in CPR (optional, not required).
  • Maintain thorough health records and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN, LVN, RN, or CNA credential (school-specific nurse qualifications are flexible).
  • Experience working with children and/or in school settings preferred.
  • Comfortable caring for students with mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Collaborative attitude, strong communication, and organizational skills.
  • Availability to interview via Zoom, with flexible scheduling in the mornings and early afternoons.
