Contract Student Health Nurse - LPN or RN

ProCare Therapy is working with a school district located in Lakewood, WA that is looking to hire an LPN or RN for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year with the opportunity to renew for the following school year.

The selected candidate will be hired on as a full time contracted employee through ProCare Therapy. A full school year contract will be awarded for you to complete. While undergoing your assignment, you will be provided with: competitive compensation, weekly paychecks, and superior healthcare benefits through United Healthcare

Details:

  • Full time: 35 - 37 hours per week
  • Hours: 7:30 - 3:30
  • LPN or RN will be responsible for proving 1:1 medical care to assigned student throughout the school day
  • Bus riding in the mornings and afternoons may be required
  • Responsibilities may include: trach care, g-tube care, medication administration, seizure monitoring, first aide, triage, and communicating with staff and parents.


    Requirements:

  • Active LPN or RN license in Washington
  • CPR certified
  • Previous pediatric or school nursing experience is preferred
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

    Interview Process:

  • 10 –15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • 20-30 Minute virtual interview directly with the school district
  • Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
