ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district in Philadelphia, PA, to hire a full-time School Nurse who will support students in grades K-12. Your skills and expertise will play a critical role in creating a safe and healthy learning environment for students to thrive.

About the Role

As a School Nurse, you’ll provide essential care to students across a range of grades, promoting their health and well-being. Whether it’s managing everyday health needs, addressing medical concerns, or supporting students with individualized health plans, your work will have a direct and positive impact on their success in the classroom and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to K-12 students, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans for students as needed.
  • Administer medication and perform health-related procedures in compliance with school policies.
  • Act as a resource and advocate for students, families, and staff regarding health-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all confidentiality and compliance standards.

    Qualifications

  • Active Pennsylvania RN license (required).
  • Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
