Position Type: Full-Time | Hours: 7:30 - 3:25

Location: Pittsfield, MA

Start Date: February 3rd, 2025

Contract Duration: January - June 2025 with opportunity to renew for next school year

 

Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 care to a student within a school setting. This role focuses on ensuring the student's medical needs are met during school hours while fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized healthcare services to the assigned student.
  • Administer medications, monitor medical devices, or manage feeding tubes as required.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and school regulations.
  • Accompany the student throughout their daily activities, including transportation if needed.

    Requirements:

  • Active LPN license in Massachusetts
  • Current certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
