Job Requirements
Applicants must meet Illinois state requirements to work as a Registered Nurse in a school setting. This includes:

Active and valid Illinois RN license

No educator credential is required

Up-to-date CPR certification

School-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred

Must pass all background checks and district-specific onboarding requirements

Must be reliable and accountable, with strong attention to student care and safety Job Duties
Selected candidates will:

Provide day-to-day health care support to students, including administering medications and managing chronic conditions

Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed

Maintain accurate student health records in compliance with state and district regulations

Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers

Assist with health screenings and promote a safe and healthy school environment
